Warranty

One Year: Building Structure, Fixtures and Fittings

All Express Portables buildings, including fixtures and fittings supplied with the building, are covered by a one-year warranty from the customer’s delivery date.

During this period, Express Portables will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defects in the product or workmanship that are determined to be manufacturing faults.

Any disconnection, removal, installation, repair, replacement, or reconnection of services, fixtures, or fittings, including any replacement parts supplied under this warranty, will be the responsibility of the customer, unless Express Portables determines otherwise in its sole discretion.

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to hello@expressportables.com.au within one (1) year of the delivery date.

Each warranty claim will be assessed by Express Portables and, where required, may be investigated prior to approval.

This warranty must be read in conjunction with the Express Portables Terms and Conditions and does not apply where the fault or damage arises from:

1) Customer actions, misuse, or neglect

2) Third-party involvement (including trades, installers, or contractors not engaged by Express Portables)

3) External factors or conditions beyond Express Portables’ control

Approval of any warranty claim is at the sole discretion of Express Portables.

Where a warranty claim is approved within the one-year warranty period, the supply of replacement fixtures or fittings will be the responsibility of Express Portables.
All labour, installation, repair, or replacement costs associated with those replacement items remain the responsibility of the customer, unless Express Portables elects otherwise in writing.

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Exclusion Clauses

• The warranty is void if Express Portables buildings are placed within 15m of saltwater bodies or if the building is directly affected by saltwater.
• Pest control is the responsibility of the owner. Proof of pest control is required when making a claim

Replacements & Repairs

In the event a replacement part/material is sent to the customer or affiliated party by Express Portables, these parts are to be fitted at the customers own expense.

Any repairs or replacements on buildings completed by the customer or tradesperson are at the customers own expense unless agreed by Express Portables in writing.

Storage Fees

If the customer is unable to receive delivery or cancels, Express Portables can apply storage fees as follows, and you agree to settle any additional invoices within 24 hours of receipt:

 

• For 20ft units, a storage fee of $35.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed, or cancellation.
• For 30ft units, a storage fee of $55.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed, or cancellation.
• For 30ft units, a storage fee of $75.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed, or cancellation.
• All other products will incur  a storage fee of $15.00 per product per week will apply until delivery or pickup is completed, or cancellation.

 

Shelters and Domes

Providing you have fully complied with each of the obligations and requirements outlined in the instruction guide provided by Express Portables, Express Portables will provide to you a 10 year structural warranty. This warranty period will commence from date of delivery, or handover.

If your Shelter or Domes has a faulty part, fitting, or fixture which has been discussed with Express Portables in writing within the manufacturer warranty prior or structural warranty period you must first notify Express Portables in writing  prior to  attempting to fix or replace the faulty part, fitting, or fixture without prior consent from, this may result in the denial of a warranty claim. 

Any replacement parts sent to you from Express Portables or a third party authorised by Express Portables, are to be replaced, fitted or repaired by you (if agreed by Express Portables in writing) or a licensed tradesperson at your own expense.  

 If you have undertaken any modifications, additions or alterations to the Shelter or Domes in any way other that what is within the instruction manual, you will not be eligible for either warranty period offered by Express Portables.  Express Portables will not be liable for any damage nor any warranty claims sustained to the Shelter or Domes from abnormal conditions, flooding, fire, hail, tornado, cyclone, misuse, damage from vehicle accidents or other weather events which causes damage to the structure, or ripping, damage or discolouring/fading of the fabric in any way.  

Express Portables will not be liable for any small dents, scratches, colour variations, damage during installation or fading over time.  

You accept that the Shelter or Domes might have a minor aesthetic imperfections which does not change the overall longevity, use or viability of the product and does not amount to a major failure or defect.
