The 40ft expandable container home has been constructed from a steel frame treated with epoxy and acrylic paint for long-lasting resilience against corrosion. Featuring a pitched roof and full glass entrance, adding a touch of modern elegance and welcoming natural light into the living space.
The pitched roof is manufactured from a a galvanised steel plate with fiberglass reinforcement and features a 20 degree angle adding to the overall aesthetics of the building. The design ensures efficient drainage, extending the roof eaves 180mm beyond the walls to shield the exterior from rain, snow, and sunlight.
The interior boasts 18mm sub-flooring with a 2mm PVC top layer, resistant to moisture, stains, scratches, and wear. With a floor-to-ceiling height of 2.4m, which complies with the National Construction Code within Australia.
In the large U-shaped kitchen, you'll find a durable 20mm Quartz stone countertop with a built-in stainless steel sink. There's also room for a cooker (650mm), dishwasher (650mm) and fridge (650mm), maximizing functionality. In the bathroom, residents can relax in a spacious full-width shower with a shower rail and a luxurious rainmaker shower head. The soft-close toilet lid adds a touch of sophistication, while the stainless-steel tap and vanity with a mirror complete the elegant and functional space.
One of the bedrooms features a unique configuration with an entry door leading to an additional room that can be utilised as a walk-in wardrobe, whilst the other bedroom has space for a wardrobe.
The expander also comes with a dedicated laundry room with provisional space for a washing machine (650mm). Featuring two access points: an entry door from inside the home and a side access door onto the decking area. This setup ensures easy access to laundry facilities from both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The patio is supplied as a flatpack kit, while the decking is supplied as pre-built modular.
