A 40ft two bedroom relocatable home that is delivered prefabricated and unfolds to an expansive 72m². Featuring a pitched roof and 2.4m internal ceiling height.

Description

The 40ft expandable container home is constructed from a steel frame treated with epoxy and acrylic paint for long-lasting resilience against corrosion. It features a pitched roof and full glass entrance, adding a touch of modern elegance while welcoming natural light into the living space.

The pitched roof is manufactured from a galvanized steel plate with fiberglass reinforcement and features a 10-degree angle, enhancing the building’s aesthetics. The design ensures efficient drainage, with roof eaves extending 175mm beyond the walls to protect the exterior from rain, snow, and sunlight.

The interior boasts 18mm sub-flooring with a 2mm PVC top layer, making it resistant to moisture, stains, scratches, and wear. The 2.4m floor-to-ceiling height complies with the National Construction Code within Australia.

In the spacious U-shaped kitchen, you'll find a durable 20mm Quartz stone countertop with a built-in stainless steel sink. There is also space for a cooker (650mm), dishwasher (650mm), and fridge (650mm), ensuring maximum functionality.

The bathroom includes a full-width shower with a shower rail and a luxurious rainmaker shower head. A soft-close toilet lid adds sophistication, while a stainless-steel tap and vanity with a mirror complete the elegant and functional space.

One of the bedrooms features an entry door leading to an additional room that can be used as a walk-in wardrobe, while the other bedroom has space for a wardrobe.

The expander also includes a dedicated laundry room with provisional space for a washing machine (650mm). It features two access points—an entry door from inside the home and a side access door leading to the decking area, ensuring convenient access from both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Please Note: Furniture, robes, patio, and decking are not supplied with the building.

Hot, cold & waste including the laundry room must be fitted by customers own plumber as this is in the fold out wing of the building.

Pitched Roof

The Superior range features a 10-degree pitched roof that improves water drainage, prevents leaks, and adds a modern look to your home. The pitched roof options allows for a 2.4m internal ceiling. The gable roof comes flat-packed inside the building and must be assembled and installed by the customer or a qualified tradesperson.

Roof Eaves

The roof’s overhanging edges protect against the elements, shielding walls, doors, and windows from rain and sun while directing water away to prevent moisture build-up and damage.

Equipped Bathroom

A fully equipped bathroom designed for convenience and style, featuring a toilet, shower, mirror, cabinetry, and a sleek vanity. Optional washing machine space

Bathroom Pre-plumbed

The bathroom is pre-plumbed; however, additional plumbing might be necessary depending on the building. The building must be elevated at least 500mm off the ground.

Non-migratory Cable

Pre-wired system using non-migratory sheathing to prevent cable degradation caused by reactions with insulated panels. Purple sheathing ensures material stability. All electrical components comply with EESS certification standards.

Transport

Crane Truck self unloads with own crane. Reach is usually 2m-6m from side of the truck’s tray from where it can park, set up and safely unload

Tilt-Tray The truck carefully slide unloads the building to the rear of the truck. Manoeuvrability and access around the site is essential, the truck requires 10-15m in a straight line to slide unload and drive away

Rigid Truck/Semi Trailer Customer is required to organise a forklift unload or crane unload
