A stylish one-bedroom tiny home that expands to 36m². Featuring an internal floor-to-ceiling height of 2.4 meters.

Description

Featuring a steel frame helping ensure the structural integrity of the building. The walls use 75mm EPS sandwich panels and the roof uses 50mm EPS panels. The doors inside the expandable home are extremely robust and are supported with aluminium frames, whilst the windows are made from double-glazed tempered glass. The interior is adorned with ceiling and floor skirting board trim, complemented by corner trim and capping. The floor on the interior is made from 18mm fibre cement subfloor board base, pre-fitted to a sturdy steel frame with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) top layer.

The building is delivered pre-plumbed and pre-wired therefore the customer will require a qualified electrician and plumber to safely connect and plumb the building.

The internal floor to ceiling height is 2.4m.

Gas struts are also attached to the roof of the folded building, assisting with the unfolding process. These gas struts can then be removed once the building has been unfolded.

Please Note: Furniture and robes are not supplied with the building. 

The building must be installed a minimum 500mm above ground allowing enough access for a plumber to connect fittings.

Roof Covering

Featuring a one-piece roof covering made from fibre reinforced plastic offering a seamless finish, preventing roof leaks. It's sleek design enhances durability, ensures weather resistance, and offers a modern, low-maintenance solution built to last.

Non-migratory Cable

The building comes pre-wired and uses non-migratory cables which are designed to prevent the migration of materials, such as insulating substances, especially under extreme conditions like fire or environmental stress. This feature is crucial for enhancing fire safety, as it prevents the spread of hazardous fumes, flames, or toxic substances in the event of a fire. All our electrical parts are registered with the Electrical Equipment Safety Scheme (EESS).

Roof Eaves

The roof eaves of the building feature a 175mm overhang, providing additional protection against rain. It also offers improved insulation by allowing rainwater to run off more efficiently, preventing moisture build-up around the structure. Guttering can be installed.

Equipped Bathroom

A fully equipped bathroom designed for convenience and style, featuring a toilet, shower, mirror, cabinetry, and a sleek vanity. Optional washing machine space.

Pre-plumbed

The building comes pre-plumbed with hot and cold water inlets plumbed through the back of the building, while the vanity and waste outlets are plumbed through the bottom of the building. Meaning the building will have to sit atleast 500mm off the ground.

Pitched Roof

The Superior range features a 10-degree pitched roof that improves water drainage, prevents leaks, and adds a modern look to your home. The pitched roof options allows for a 2.4m internal ceiling. The gable roof comes flat-packed inside the building and must be assembled and installed by the customer or a qualified tradesperson.

Transport

Crane Truck self unloads with own crane. Reach is usually 2m-6m from side of the truck’s tray from where it can park, set up and safely unload
Tilt Tray The truck carefully slide unloads the building to the rear of the truck. Manoeuvrability and access around the site is essential, the truck requires 10-15m in a straight line to slide unload and drive away
Rigid Truck/Semi Trailer Customer is required to organise a forklift unload or crane unload

Pitched Roof

Overview Due to the flat 2400mm floor to ceiling height the pitched roof (supplied) must be installed on the Expander to help prevent want run off. Additionally it contributes to the thermal insulation values of the Expander
